Add this to 6-8 quality free agents.........we may have a buyer's market. Broaddus was asked about the Cowboys taking Robinson.......he would only say he would be the best player on their board if he makes it to 26. If you have to have Robinson, it appears a trade-down would be best.

Honestly, I would consider double-dipping the position .........tag Pollard, draft one round 2-3 and 5-6. That way I'm in good shape when Pollard walks after the tag.

Passing up on Robinson would be a huge mistake but I would definitely listen to trade down offers .

I love Bijan. But the Chiefs and Eagles just proved you don’t need elite back to get to the big dance.

Pacheco was a 7th rounder.

Gainwell was a 5th rounder, Scott 6th rounder, Sanders 2nd rounder.

Almost have to take Robinson if he makes it to 26, he is a top 5 talent in this class that might have just 15-18 first rd graded players. I get it the counter argument, it’s like drafting a Guard in rd 1, but if he if an elite player, it would be a mistake. I am only taking Robinson in this scenario and willing to wait to day 3 to find Pollard a running mate

I’m so much on the let Zeke and Pollard go bandwagon. Draft 2 running backs in this loaded draft. Use the money you are not spending on the RB position to sign players at positions that are weak in this draft. It’s such common sense and yet the Jones boys will probably resign/franchise tag both Zeke and Pollard. It’s so frustrating.

I would do this if we actually where buyers in free agency to sure up the wide receiver position, offensive and defensive lines. We just know the Joneses are to afraid to make a drastic change like that.

Robinson and CeeDee as your top two offensive weapons.

With this draft depth and some decent FAs out there, this offseason SCREAMS letting Elliott go.

But our *******es won't. Stephen waxing on about how important Elliott is and kind of downplaying Pollard was a sure sign they plan on bringing the anchor back.

So dumb.

With the depth of TB in this draft, I think the opposite. Frankly, I think the hype on Robinson being this almost generational, Top 5 talent is overblown. He's no doubt a big time prospect but honestly, how many of those types change the trajectory of a franchise? Few, if any in today's NFL.

I am loading up on the OL and DL and finding my TB in FA and the sweet spot in those middle rounds.

they're so successful because of the other threats (especially mahomes) on the flipside you have a cmac dominating w/ purdy

I don't believe Robinson's talent is overblown, but the position is way devalued cause they just cannot hold up for more then their rookie deals. Both Zeke/Gurley were excellent early in their careers, but are both done before 30. Any team who drafts a high running back, knows it's more of a short-term investment. With this being said, I would rather draft a running back early on day 3, especially if they are going to bring Pollard back on the tag.

We heard the same buzz around Zeke, Gurley, Leo, Saquon etc…

Saquon and Gurley couldn’t stay healthy, Leo underachieved and Zeke was good for his 1st contract but it didn’t get us over the hump.

It really depends on how a team wants to run their offense. If they are more of a passing attack, definitely a poor fit, but one who wants to be run heavy, Robinson is an excellent fit. Sometimes, you find rare/generational types like Peterson who age well, but that is the outliner. In my opinion, they already have their back in Pollard, they just need to find a back who can share the carries to not overload him. In this draft, you can find a quality back in the 3rd to 5th rd range, this is the best way to address the need, but you know this ownership, they love their stars, cannot see them passing up Robinson if he is there.

I mean, even if you want to be a running team and have a great back like Bijan are you going to be able to hand him the ball 25 times and expect to score 30+ to keep up with the Eagles?

You can do what the Eagles do to you and keep your offense on the sidelines. Remember, Zeke's rookie season.

Yea but they have an RPO QB.

They also have arguably the best 1/2 punch at WR in football and a legit TE weapon.

We’re not in the same boat as them.

Not yet, but if this scenario played out: OBJ, Robinson/Pollard and one of those top TE's, we are close.
