I am always curious to see what players were available to us at the spots he made our picks. I think Brooks at 56 is a reach IMO considering I think there are decent enough TB options later in the draft (granted we don't currently have a 4th or 5th round pick).

Brooks is going to go before the 24th pick?
I really don’t know but I remember over the years Bruglar’s late first and early second picks go higher then he believed. Especially his early mocks.

Would be quite the jump though, even for Brugler, for his 56th picks guy to go more than 32 spots higher.

Has us taking

24. Tyler Guytin OT Oklahoma
56. Jonathon Brooks RB Texas
The guy that runs the Senior Bowl has been high on Guyton too…raves about the upside and thinks he’ll be a big draft riser. Can’t wait to see him at the Sr Bowl.

Round 2 injured player? Been down that road way too many times. Hard pass.

100% agree on Brooks…man just can’t get on board with the injured players. Too many burns.

We pooped the bed last year not getting a RB. Class was twice as deep.

Brooks is such a terrible pick in the 2nd - for any team - but especially the Cowboys.

Taking a RB that pedestrian with the holes on this roster would be so stupid. It's akin to the Schoonmaker pick.

In this draft, with who was taken after us in the 2nd I think I'd prefer Corley or Kinchens at 2nd pick

Yea there are like 50 guys I'd rather take lol.

I like Brugler a lot but his mocks are pretty out there sometimes.

In 3 seasons Schoonmaker had 54 catches for 637 yards
while Brooks just last season 1,139 yards and didn't even play a full season!
LOL awful comparison...

Guyton is going to rise up the ranks.

No thanks on Brooks in the 2nd. If he slips to the 3rd, maybe.
Good I am hoping for the OT from Oregon St. Guy is nasty but I am not going to get my hopes up because when I do like a player he always get drafted before we pick
