Dane Brugler released his pre-draft top 10 WRs.

I'm sure many can be clumped together depending on what teams are looking for. He gave added bonus to Sutton and St brown for their "possible" ceiling, and not really where they are now.

Here's his list
  1. Calvin Ridley, Alabama
  2. DJ Moore, Maryland
  3. Anthony Miller, Memphis
  4. Courtland Sutton, SMU
  5. Equanimous St Brown, Notre Dame
  6. Christian Kirk, Texas AM
  7. Michael Gallup, Colorado St
  8. DJ Chark, LSU
  9. James Washington, Oklahoma St
  10. Dante Pettis, Washington

His sleeper is Daurice Fountain, NIU

Ridley,Moore or Sutton....I think if the pick at 19 is WR...its one of these 3.
Don't think Sutton will make it to 50,might not make it to the 2nd Rd.

if we wait til 50...James Washington....or if Sutton slips into Rd2...I could see us moving up to get him.
Risky.
which is why I think we probably grab one at 19....and I hope his name is Calvin Ridley.

I'm getting a Sutton vibe for the Cowboys the closer we get to the draft. The new Dez Bryant only not as talented.
I am too.
if he makes a 30 visit...its might be a done deal.
still hoping we get Ridley.

Keep an eye DJ Chart.....word is Cowboys were in La last Wed to give him a private workout. He's not my favorite ( too many body catches on his tape ) but something to keep in mind.

Anyone see any on this list getting out 3rd round?

To 3rd round or all the way to 81?

I'd bet that one of those guys makes it 81, but no idea which one.
Maybe 2 or even 3 could fall to the top of round 3...maybe.
Some are just so different and bring different things to the table short and longer term...hard to predict.

Actually 81....but it probably doesn't matter coz they're taking at least one before 81. Perhaps another one at 5-7 ( Callaway)

if Sutton makes a 30 visit....it might be a lock.
I like the player but most seem to think he's a late 1 early 2.

When Dez was on the roster I thought the sure bet was a speed guy like Kirk or Washington at 50 or Pettis or Chark at 81. Now that they cut Dez, I can see almost any scenario where they pick a WR anywhere from the 1st to the 4th round.

I could also see this being a draft like the 2015 where everyone thought it was a lock to draft a RB but the board didn't fall that way. They went with DMC as their fallback at RB and it turned out fine, I could see this year being like as well. In reality they added Hurns and Thompson as experienced outside guys and Noah Brown and Switzer could/should improve significantly over last year.

I really don't think Dallas cuts Dez if they aren't ready for a scenario where they come out of the draft without another WR.

Cowboys 3rd (81)
Cowboys 4th (116), (137)

Brugler's mock draft has: (79)Gallup, (92)Washington, (95)Hamilton, (99)Pettis, (109)Fountain, (114)Smith

Brugler thinks Smith is another under-rated WR.

We better not blow 19 on one of these WRs.

I don't think they will. Ridley is the only one that justifies 19, if you're getting a Reggie Wayne/Marvin Harrison type. But I think he'll go before us.

I think they're looking at a grabbing a defensive guy first - - either someone highly rated who falls like Vea, James, Smith, Payne or LVE -- and then trading back up to 33/34 to get the receiver of their choice
