Bryan Broaddus a B. Jones fan

Surprised to see Anthony Brown as high on that list as he is. And Jeff Heath as low, honestly. (Jeff Heath seems to be on the right and wrong side of a lot of splash plays).

You have to wonder about the methodology if Richard Ash and Xavier Woods have the same number of splash plays.

I still say he is playing out of position.

My only hope is the Cowboys get Thomas and move Jones to CB.

Methodology....

I hate to keep harping on this but ...I see Broaduss highlighted Price with 3 splashplays before he got injured.
First thing I looked at and What I dont get is Broadduss' distain for Maleick Collins.
7.5 splash plays when he was moved to 1-tech, and played the year with a stress fracture in his foot.
In the last draft show, he kept on saying Collins best film was at the 1 not the 3. Both Brugler and Helman said Collins is a 3, and seemed distainful of Broadduss' take.
To me, he deserves the chance to play where they drafted him, not where he had to due to the FO screwup.

Crazy how Irving is 2nd and missed probably half the season.

There is not a lot that goes into Sturm's splash plays.

Not that it is a bad measure, it is just that people need to know what it means.

It does not mean what "splash" implies.

Think of it as good plays by the defender.

It may have meant nothing depending on the juncture in the football game.

This bleacher report writer has him at number 4 in the nfl :)

OK...a word about my pet cat.

Lewis Neal had 4 splashes. He played little bits and pieces of 7 games. If he'd played even half the downs he'd likely have 30 splash plays. o_O

Guys it’s just a list of splash plays. It’s not an overall grade of Byron as a player because it doesn’t take into account mistakes made and plays not made. Or other non “splash plays”

Imagine Jones with good coaching, playing in a better scheme and at his best position. Possibilities could be endless.

Or maybe he's just not that good and he happens to jump really high

Exactly.

He made X number of positive plays.

It is not a measure of effectiveness overall.
