Remember the days of our 2nd and 3rd corners not even making other teams

Its a nice sign that we do have depth now.

You know what it tells us? That we've had a relatively injury free training camp/preseason.

You usually have an attrition factor hit the 80 man roster that loads up the IR and thins out some quality depth.
Had that happen in 2009 in a big way, especially that rookie class.

We haven't had such "luck" this time around.

While an intriguing prospect, he's not ready to play yet. As desperate as Baltimore is for healthy CBs, they will soon find that out and then will have to decide do they want to keep a guy on the 53 man roster that isnt ready to play on Sundays. So like someone posted earlier, dont be surprised if he's on the waiver wire in 2-3 weeks.

Whatever happened to Evan Oglesby? He had a great training camp and the Ravens picked him up and later on cut him. McCann will probably have same fate.

True. The real estate is overpriced too. I was watching House Hunters and a small row house sells for $300K.

He didn't have a choice. Baltimore claimed him off waivers.

I'm sure he'd much rather be on the Ravens' 53-man roster making a full salary than be on our practice squad, but he actually didn't have a say in the matter.

It was a joke..........feeble attempt at one, but it was.

I hate to see him go. McCann would have made the team had he not played so bad in the Miami game. He is not ready for the NFL yet. He needs a couple more months at least, more likely a year.

He may turn out to be this year's version of Ray Mickens. Signed by someone else and cut numerous times. Balt is desperate for CB help. He may see action quickly. The results will be in very quickly as to whether he can play.
You could be right. He really stunk it up in the Miami game though. Even after that performance I wanted him on the PS.

Bryan McCann - Baltimore
Junior Siavii - Seattle
Marcus Dixon - Jets
Jamar Wall - Houston

That is a pretty strong group getting picked up in initial wiavers upon being released by Dallas.

This still leaves Cletis Gordon and Patrick Watkins to find homes.

Actually I am happy for both Dixon and Siavii. That says a lot for the current Dallas defensive line depth also, when you think about it.

I'm rueing this news.

As bad as that is, what if Jerry decides to bring someone like Reeves back?

Not me, but I will move there this coming May. The Fort is closing here in NJ and we are all moving to Aberdeen, MD.

Hey, Baltimore is a nice city, don't be fooled.
I used to live in Columbia, MD 20 some years ago. It was a cool city. I loved Hammerjacks. Although, it is not there anymore. I'm too old for that stuff anymore. At least the crabcakes are good.

Bryan McCann, the Matt Moore of cornerbacks.

Seriously, this stinks.

But then I thought we made several strange choices in our final cuts.
