RG3 was treated just like Dez Bryant..

Injuries piled up and lower performance prevailed.

Both Dez and RG3 were 1st Rd. Draft picks.

RG3 was very noisy as was Dez.

Vocal and critical of those around him but never pointed the finger at themselves for their problems.

Great work if you can get it, if you ask me.

That's a pretty big reach, but ok.

Except Dez had a long productive career
RGIII had basically one year
Understood.

My post was about how they were released..

not how long they played.

That was all.

There are other examples to be added to the thread..

Feel free.

No granite here.

Thanx for your post.

And I think Dez has a better shot at rebounding more than RG3.

How so the WR position is based mostly on athletisicm which was diminishing...

While if RG3 can figure out how to work more in the pocket and less on his legs he could rebound much higher

I'm not going to dignify this thread with even my appearance... Dangit!!!

yet another example of not every thought that comes in your head needs to be a thread. There's no comparison between the two.

RG3 is a walking injury. He had one good year and the NFL found out what kind of a QB he is. Couldn't even last one game as QB at Cleveland last time he played.

Not the topic.

RG3 was a Superstar.

not a bum.

wish we had him in his prime..

Championship.

he made us look silly.

As MC Hammer says..

Hammer Time.

He was a superstar for one year. Not even quite that. The league caught up with him. I don't even know if he's a good backup now. Don't think he would have made a difference here. We couldn't even win a SB with Romo.

Why?

Both were the faces of their Franchises.

Don't get better than that.

And when the Mighty Fall..

its hard I understand.

Dez just fell and no matter how you spin it..

He's in deep jeopardy of losing his career in the days ahead.

I don't care about threats for revenge.

Heard it all before from dozens of other players.

Funny thing though.

I don't recall any player who Dallas released that factored big on another team.

Only ones are Calvin Hill and Craig Morton.

Is Dez those guys?

No.
