IIRC, I want to say it was Irvin who said at one point after he retired that Aikman had dislocated every finger on his hands excluding his thumbs due to the velocity he had on his passes. He had even ripped the web between his fingers when the nose of the football had gotten between two of his fingers and wedged them apart.

I agree, but you know what? Part of it is a bit of media shyness and part of it is him learning to speak more fluently. I think he is getting better and better at it.

He isn't Emmitt though. I think he has bit of thick tongue, if that is the right word to describe, how words come out. If not he is talks just fine, seems like there is huge difference on him talking to media too. He doesn't seem to treat them as adversaries anymore.

Hope that continues through the season, wins or losses.

Not that Dez lacks confidence or anything, but I think the loud ovations he gets from the crowd at training camp help his psyche. After an off-season of negative publicity from media, it's good to see the cheers going his way. Really like this kid's attitude, even if he is misunderstood.
