You could tell by looking at how the DB was covering at the line that Dez was going to be the target. When you have man on man against Dez you have to go with him on a jump ball play. It's just like Irvin against man coverage in the 90s. Sometimes the lob play to a star WR is the best call. Dez's ability to make that catch is why he's one of the best in the business.

Romo couldnt step into the pass because of the blitzer but that catch was spectacular,probably the best this season.

What I loved about the catch was something I have complained about with Dez.
I love him and he is great but I felt one of the things he needed to improve upon was reaching out, reaching up for ball with arms extended instead of trying to catch ball with his body.

Very happy for him. He is shaping is destiny in 88 lore.
