BSpn spinning it like Terrell Owens personally drove Bill Parcells out of Valley Ranch.

If you listen to the soundbytes they use, Bill's frustration most often was directed at the media and their incessant questioning of "what about TO?"

I feel bad for any coach that has to come in, not because they have to deal with Terrell Owens, but because they have to deal with the media microscope that the Cowboys organization is always under.

Terrell talked a lot less this year than he has in years past. He had ONE issue, the thing w/ the WR's coach and that was taken care of in-house (as it should have been). Everything else was off-the field, ...how many games did Terrell miss this season? Oh wait yeah... HELL, the guy played through an injury almost all season.

And there will be those that whine "he brings it on himself." He did little if anything this season to "bring it on himself." The OD thing is it...and he and the team dealt with it and moved on. BSpn and the haters haven't yet.

Get over it...Bill's gone because Jerry likely wanted him out. Unfortunately Jerry's likely to bring in another puppet (see Campo, Gailey, Switzer) and we'll just go through this crap again next year.

What if Bill decided to go because Jerry wouldn't get rid of TO.

Perfectly plausable.

or what if Parcells left because Jones wouldnt give him more money and a contract extension (as was rumored just yesterday)

or maybe Parcells just decided it was time

Maybe....was just saying that the whole "World Against Us" attitude towards ESPN is just ridiculous. They are doing their job and speculating like they always do. If you don't like what they have to say, don't watch.

Oh don't worry. I don't. It's all NLFN all day in this household where it pertains to my NFL news. It's quite refreshing to get a middle ground viewpoint after having dealt with the intricate BSPN anti-TO campaign. If you can't see it then you must have turned your TV off.

example: How many critical drops / implosions did Reche Caldwell have last night? How much air time have they given him? They run TO's drops 24/7 round the clock. ZZZ

And I say this as a UTEP fan that doesn't want to see him go, but UTEP's Mike Price (and Aaron Price his OC) would be a good fit for Dallas.

The offense they run would fit the talent Dallas has. Because UTEP had a HORRIBLE Oline this season, they relied A LOT on the quick release of the QB and the speed/evasiveness of the WRs to pick up yards. We have the talent for that very thing. Price is also aggressive. He's not afraid to take the deep shot on 1st down 1st snap of the game.

The W-L totals don't show just how much Price improved UTEP. They scored almost 28pts/game without a run game (2.4yds/carry, 57yds/game avg).

Maybe I just say it b/c he'd be likely to draft Johnnie Lee Higgins Jr. haha

Go Cowboys!

TO was the sole reason our offense was good last year. Whether he caught the ball or not teams had to scheme for him.
