The NFL is suspending Dallas Cowboys defensive end Damontre Moore for two games for violating the league's substance abuse policy, according to reports.
Damontre Moore, a DFW-native, went to Rowlett High School and was an All-American at Texas A&M University.
The newly acquired defensive end, Moore, was a third round pick in 2013 and has bounced around the league over the past three years.
Moore was waived by the New York Giants in 2015 for violating team rules; he will now sit out the first two weeks of the regular season. He will be eligible to return to the active-roster on September 18 following the team's game against the Denver Broncos.
