Dallas police are suspending the investigation into a fight at a bar where Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot was seen.
Elliot had been accused of throwing a punch that injured a man at Clutch Bar on Cedar Springs Road Sunday night.
Police say because of limited information available in the investigation they are suspending the case.
In a statement Wednesday afternoon, Dallas police said, in part:
"Dallas detectives made several attempts to contact the victim through various ways but at this time have not been able to make contact. To date no witnesses have come forward to provide any additional information about this incident."
