U.S. Army officials said a soldier stationed at Fort Hood will announce the Dallas Cowboys fourth round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Sgt. 1st Class Shonta Tucker earned the honor by competing at the Dallas Cowboys Military NFL Combine at AT&T Stadium.
Tucker, a Platoon Sergeant at Fort Hood's Warrior Transition Unit, bested 49 other soldiers in the all-day event, which included a 40-yard dash, L-line drill, two minutes of pushups and a vertical jump.
Spc. Tavon Johnson will join Tucker to announce the Cowboys' pick in the fourth round Saturday at the Philadelphia City Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
