We take a look at some of the media grades that have come in so far for the Cowboys picks yesterday.
Second-Day Draft Grades

Gregory failed multiple drug tests while at Nebraska and another at this year's combine, plus just Friday night both the NFL Network and ESPN reported that he had shown up late for or missed multiple meetings with teams ahead of the draft. If the Cowboys can keep him focused on and off the field, though, this pick could be the steal of the year. Gregory was No. 3 on our SI64 2015 prospect rankings and his talent as a pass-rusher is undeniable. He plays on the light side, maxing out at 235 for the combine, but still holds his own in man-on-man situations. There's a world of potential here, if Gregory can stay out of trouble.Drafttek

Bang! Randy Gregory, the top pass-rusher in this draft, falls to the 60th pick and is scooped up by the Cowboys. Adam Schefter just reported that Gregory missed at least three meetings with teams at the Combine. Add that to the failed drug tests at Nebraska and the Combine, along with his inability to add weight, and you have more than a handful of red flags. If Gregory can keep it together and realize his potential, this will be the steal of the draft.C+

There is great value here if he gets his life in order. That's a big 'if.' But it can be a huge hit. Worth the risk.B-

I know I am supposed to make some joke about the Cowboys grabbing problem children or how Gregory is not really cut out for their flavor of 4-3 defense. But it is the end of the second round, and this is a guy with 12-sack upside. The risk is not all that great, and the rewards are not all that remote. The Cowboys need to gamble a little bit to get over the top before Tony Romo retires and/or their salary cap collapses the global economy.C+
Actually, the depth behind their exceptional line is not very good. There is no backup center on the depth chart. The only backup guard is Mackenzy Bernadeau, a knockaround journeyman. There are a bunch of tackles, but none of them are prospects. Green will probably begin as a multiposition sub. He started for three seasons at Florida and can probably play either guard position or right tackle. His athletic upside is limited, but he could develop into a decent starter if he stays healthy.Dan Kadar, SB Nation

Suffice to say, the Cowboys got a steal with this pick. That's assuming Gregory doesn't have issues with drugs going forward. Gregory is a high-end edge rusher with speed and size. He has every trait you want in a pass rusher you can mold.Bryan Fisher, NFL.com:

On Day 2, the Cowboys got a top-10 talent at pick No. 60 in Gregory -- obviously, a tremendous value at a big area of need. If the team can get a good support system in place, Gregory could be the steal of the draft a few years from now. ESPN is gushing about the Cowboys being the right place for Randy Gregory. Call me crazy, but I don't think a locker room comprised of Dez Bryant and Greg Hardy is a great fit. Having said that, I really like this pick; I had Dallas taking Gregory in the first round of my mock, so this is a steal. Gregory may have been the third-overall selection if he was completely clean off the field. Of course, he's not, and what he has going on behind the scenes is a major concern. NFL personnel have said that they think he may not last five years in the NFL. However, the Cowboys are ready to win now. Tony Romo just turned 35, and Jerry Jones doesn't have many years left either. They're in position to win a Super Bowl, and Gregory should be able to help with his awesome pass-rushing ability.B+
Chaz Green is one of Charlie's draft sleepers. I thought he'd go a bit later than this, but I still like the pick. The Cowboys wanted to upgrade the offensive line because Doug Free won't be around much longer, so Green could step in as a starter as early as 2016.
