Here is where all 32 NFL teams stand.
We’re firmly in double-digit weeks now which means the NFL season will be over before we know it. Sigh.
There is still a lot to happen this season which is exciting if you’re in the playoff mix like the Dallas Cowboys. What about the rest of the NFL, though? Where do the Cowboys stand in comparison?
Here’s the latest batch of power rankings. Vamonos.

Remember way back in September, when Dak Prescott was the trendy MVP pick? That talk died off quickly as Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson raced up the board, but Sunday was a nice reminder of what a complete star Dak has become under center. The Cowboys quarterback was in complete control against the Lions, throwing for 444 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-27 win. He did his damage with the help of awesome work from the Dallas offensive line, but without the typical contributions from Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott (though the latter did have a pretty touchdown reception). Instead, it was Michael Gallup (an emerging playmaker) and Randall Cobb who did the bulk of the damage, just another reminder of how deep and dangerous this Dallas attack really is. Factor in another Eagles loss, and the Cowboys are the favorite to repeat as NFC East champions. Save your Jason Garrett melodrama for another week.
A bit of a climb.
On an offensive line with Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick and Zack Martin, it is easy to be overlooked, but Collins is having his best season. He came to the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent playing left guard and moved to right tackle in his third season. He has become comfortable in his techniques and has found the right blend between aggressiveness and patience, especially in pass protection. The only issue he has is a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee that he aggravated in Sunday’s win at Detroit. If he can’t play, then folks will see his value. -- Todd Archer
Another top 10 ranking.
In Sunday’s win against the Lions, Prescott lit up Detroit for 444 passing yards and three touchdowns. It’s the second week in a row that Prescott’s thrown for at least 397 yards. The fourth-year pro’s 841 yards over the past two games are the most passing yards over such a stretch in franchise history.
Prescott also tied Joe Montana as the quickest players in NFL history to record four games with at least 375 passing yards and multiple touchdowns in a season. Two more such games will tie Prescott with Peyton Manning for the most in a campaign.
Faith is being restored.
At some point, it’s disingenuous to say every player having a good season is an MVP candidate. Would some of these fringe candidates have any real argument against Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson? No. But maybe Dak Prescott does. He leads the NFL in passing yards and has a 104.1 rating. His nine interceptions might end the conversation, considering Wilson has a 23-2 TD-INT ratio, but it doesn’t seem crazy to have Prescott somewhere on the MVP list. Prescott has been very good.
Everyone agrees... the Dallas Cowboys are a top 10 team.
