The Baltimore Ravens left the playing surface with a solid win over the Cleveland Browns, but that was expected. The unexpected loss was an ankle injury to Pro Bowl center Marshal Yanda.
The Ravens offensive lineman suffered a broken ankle early in the second half which will bring his 2017 season to a close. Former Arizona Cardinal Tony Bergstrom will man the middle for the remainder of the season.
"Nobody can replace Marshal Yanda. Not one person. We traded for [Bergstrom) for a reason. Our scouts believed in him. It looks like a good trade. Everybody is going to collectively raise their effort level and their execution level to make up for the loss of a player like Marshal Yanda." - John Harbaugh
Panthers TE Greg Olsen breaks foot in win vs. Bills David Newton, ESPN
The Carolina Panthers also lost a Pro Bowl caliber player on Sunday. Three-time honoree TE Greg Olsen went down early and later returned to the sidelines with crutches and a walking boot.
After the contest it was announced that Olsen’s foot was broken and he would be seeing a surgeon on Monday.

The tight end had contributed three consecutive 1,000 yard efforts to the Panthers offense coming in to the season.

Add Gronk to the list although he does not seem to have suffered the type of injury that will keep him down long.
The 6-foot-6 tight end left the game in the second half after making his sixth catch of the day, giving him 116 yards and a score. He was slow to get up, and when he did, he immediately gestured toward the Patriots sidelines.
According to reports Gronk will be dealing with the impact of a groin issue and should be good to go. Still, the fact that he did not say anything after the game will leave open room for talk.

Coleman was the Cleveland Browns first selection in 2016 and since that point nothing has gone right for the receiver.
For the second year in a row he is looking at missing serious time due to a broken hand.

Regarding the trade rumors, Vaccaro was quick to acknowledge them.
“I mean, you try to block them out. But at the same time, I’m on this team. Until something changes, then that’s when you make a move. But right now, I’m focused on the next game. I was focused on my game plan last night, all week I’ve been focused.”
The former first-round selection was high on some fans’ lists a few seasons back when he came out of Texas.

Timmons, the Dolphins’ $6 million outside linebacker, bolted from the team hotel Saturday with little explanation to the men he was expected to lead Sunday.
Timmons was inactive and not at the stadium for the Dolphins’ 19-17 victory against the Chargers.

With the way Jay Cutler’s career in Chicago played out, you could have almost scripted the way things played out today.
On a day when Cutler's successor, Mike Glennon, turned the ball over three times in an ugly Bears loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the former Bears starting quarterback moved to 1-0 as the Dolphins' new man under center.
Cutler was pretty good in the 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, completing 24 of his 33 passes and throwing for 230 yards and a touchdown.
It seems like poetic justice for the passer who was never the only issue on the squad but seemingly the one who always took the brunt of the criticism.
