The first dominoes are already falling and now the Cowboys will be in the market for a new safety,

The Cowboys knew that it was going to be hard to keep a lot of their own free agents with their current cap concerns. However, cap aside, the Cowboys just doesn't hand out contracts like other teams are willing to do.
Barry Church has spent his entire career with the Cowboys after going undrafted out of Toledo in 2010. He’s been the consummate professional and has been a captain of the Cowboys for the past few seasons.
Church has started 90 games for the Dallas Cowboys over the past seven seasons. He has recorded 488 tackles, forced seven fumbles, and has recorded five interceptions. Church was rewarded with a four-year extension from the Cowboys back in 2012. He was second on the team in tackles for the 2016 season even though he missed four games with a broken forearm.
Church would be missed for his steadiness and leadership on defense. He’s one of the free agents the Cowboys would like to keep. If he leaves, they can either turn to J.J. Wilcox, who is being pursued by the Bucs, or look at other free agents. They also have Jeff Heath in house.
