The NFL's golden boy has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the league. The New England Patriots have also been punished for their part in Deflate-Gate.

After the Ted Wells report came out last week, the New England Patriots stood on pins and needles awaiting what punishment would be handed down to not only their organization but their reigning Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady.

It was determined by the Wells Report that Brady "more probable than not" had knowledge of the deflation and was directly involved in the violation. Now after less than a week of deliberation the NFL has handed down a hefty punishment to the four-time Super Bowl champion.

Tom Brady, for his part, will be suspended for four games without pay. To add to the drama, the New England Patriots will be fined $1,000,000 and forfeit next year's first round and 2017's fourth round selections.

Brady can appeal the suspension and is likely to do so, but if upheld, that means the defending champions will be without his services until week six against the Indianapolis Colts. You guessed it, the same team he reportedly cheated against.

As previously stated, Tom Brady will have three days to appeal the suspension, we shall see if his penalty is reduced or not. If Roger Goodell appoints the same arbitrator that is set to handle Greg Hardy's suspension, Brady may be in big trouble and may have to take it to the higher court.

At this point in time, Dallas is just ecstatic that at least for now, it seems as though they will not have to prepare for one of the leagues best signal callers. Another offseason event in favor of Big D.
