BTB once again highlights the best and worst fantasy football match ups of the week.

Week five is upon us, and it is time once again to set your line up for the weekend. As always, BTB has been evaluating matchups and looking for the best opportunities for our readers to cash in on the winning. Here are some of the best and worst matchups of the week.
Quarterbacks
Start
Carson Palmer - Palmer has proven to be a pretty consistent fantasy performer over the past ten games or so. He has experienced only one game where he was under 20 points during this span, and that was last week when he was hurt by some dropped passes. This week he faces the Detroit Lions, a team that has been more than generous to quarterbacks this season. Look for Mr Consistent to get you off to a solid start once again.
Eli Manning - Manning threw an interception last week, and it was his first of the season. If you follow the NFL then that should clue you in on which Eli is starting for the Giants right now. Good Eli is back, so ride the wave while it lasts. This weekend he faces a San Francisco defense that struggles to shut down opposing passers. Look for Bad Eli to remain benched at least one more week.
Sit
Matthew Stafford - Stafford has experienced several dismal outings this season, and against the Cardinals defense he will likely find himself in the same boat once again. Arizona has been solid in its efforts against opposing passers this season, and there is no reason to suspect that they will lose form this week. The best thing for Stafford to do is to watch Carson Palmer this week, take good notes, and put what he sees to use next week against Da Bears and their vulnerable defense.
Derek Carr - The Raiders young quarterback is the next in line to face the Denver defense. The new Orange Crush has allowed a combined 31 fantasy points to enemy quarterbacks this season. Carr has not been surrounded with the kind of weapons that he needs to be able to buck the trend of the Broncos feasting on the offenses they face.
Running Backs
Start
Doug Martin - Martin faces the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, and it is a good opportunity for him to showcase his talents. Paul Posluszny, the Jags best defensive player, would normally be the best chance to counter Martin, but he is suffering from the dreaded high ankle sprain and may miss the game. Look for Martin to go over the 100 yard mark early in this one and he should find paydirt at least once on Sunday.
Justin Forsett- Against the Steelers, Forsett finally showed why the Baltimore Ravens are so high on what he can do. With the Ravens banged up at WR, they will look to Forsett and the ground game even more this week against the Cleveland Browns who are terrible against the run.
Sit
Latavious Murray - One of my starts from last week who laid an egg. He has been either hot or cold this season, and against Denver I look for him to be cold. In addition, with one of the few vulnerabilities of the Denver D being receivers out o the backfield, look for the Raiders to work Roy Helu into the game more often to exploit this gap in the Orange Crush.
Receivers
Start
Mike Evans - Evans has gotten off to a slow start this season, but a Jacksonville team playing their third consecutive game away from home is an opportunity for him to rebound. Look for another week of the kind of numbers he put up against Houston in week three when he was targeted 17 times and eclipsed the 100-yard mark against the Texans.
Terrance Williams - TWill should benefit from Tom Brady this week. Dallas is going to have to put up points to chase the Patriots this game, and that means that, like it or not, the Cowboys are going to have to go vertical. The New England secondary has allowed four receivers this season to turn in solid fantasy efforts, and Williams will have the opportunity to be number five.
Allen Robinson/Allen Hurns - The Jacksonville tandem will have an opportunity to work against a Tampa Bay defense that has been vulnerable to touchdowns through the air. Robinson will most likely get more looks during the game but Hurns tends to get more yardage on average. Either or both could have a multiple touchdown game against the Bucs. If one of them is on your roster, get him in the game this weekend.
Sit
Marvin Jones - Nobody wants to face the Seattle Seahawks and their big, physical corners but that is what Jones and A. J. Green will do this week. Jones looked like he was ready to become a viable #2 WR in this league and then he turned in a stinker game. Last week Andy Dalton barely bothered to look his direction. Expect more of the same this weekend.
Anquan Boldin - The no name Giants defense has done a good job this season against opposing receivers and they are playing with confidence. That , combined with how poorly his quarterback is playing right now, should serve to limit the amount of damage that Boldin can do against New York.
Amari Cooper - Cooper has been a solid start of late, but this week he is facing a Denver defense that is not only top notch in its secondary play, but they also get in the face of passers on a constant basis as well. Good pass defense plus good pass rush equals limited production for Amari Cooper.
Tight Ends
Start
Owen Daniels - The Raiders defense has made sure that guys like Crockett Gillmore and Gary Barnidge know what it feels like to play a game at a Pro Bowler's level. They have given up at least 14 points to tight ends in each of their four games this season.
Sit
Heath Miller - There are very few times that I will tell you to sit Miller, he has proven himself too many times, but this is one of them. Without Big Ben to get him the ball, Miller just is not going to get the looks that he normally would. Michael Vick is more likely to take off running than he is to go through his progressions, especially with targets that he has not had much opportunity to work with.
