Here's a quick snapshot of what went on in Saturday's practice out in Oxnard.

Today, like every day thus far, we found out that some guys would be given a veteran day off. Those getting some free time today would be Doug Free, Brandon Carr, and Orlando Scandrick. We also got a bit of good news as it seems likely that we'll get a glimpse of Tyrone Crawford and Terrell McClain back on the practice field on Tuesday. Both guys are being held out for precautionary reasons but their injuries are not deemed as serious, just soreness.

The Cowboys also worked out two offensive linemen today in Kevin Palmer and Audrey Walker, both are considered camp bodies, we'll see if they snag one or two. Another shot of good news is that quarterback coach Wade Wilson is back at practice.

Not sure what all this means in regards to Fredbeard, but here's a little scoop of ice cream for you guys:

In more important news than Denzel Washington at Cowboys camp, Travis Frederick's agent, Joe Panos, is at practice today.

There has been a receiver that has been catching on lately even if it's hard to break through on this squad of pass catchers. Watch how Andy Jones does an homage to Dez Bryant by flying right by Deji Olatoye:

Remember those pesky cornerbacks we've been talking about. Check out this pass breakup from Morris Claiborne on the king of receivers:

Alright, calm down Mo, we need Dez Bryant, don't go leveling him up on every play. Nice work, though.

If you thought that the veteran cornerbacks were the only ones getting in on the action, looks like Anthony Brown is stating his case. It certainly seems like the DBs have an ax to grind this season. Good for them

What's not good is that Lawrence Okoye, a camp standout thus far, went down with an apparent elbow injury on a play where he had a TFL.

Dak Prescott seems to have found a new favorite target. If he and Geoff Swaim have a few of these types of plays, things will be looking great for both of them heading into the season.

For the most part, practice was another solid showing by the defense. Not that the offense didn't get theirs, Romo connected with Dez for three touchdowns and Cole Beasley had the play of the day. Stay tuned for the full recap of practice complete with who got hurt both physically or even emotionally. Danny Phantom's up next with the details on everything Oxnard!
