Cowboys again looking healthy.
The Dallas Cowboys are now left to just play out the string. All slim hopes of a playoff spot have been extinguished, there is no hope for 2015, but they still have a game this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Dallas will turn to Kellen Moore at quarterback, but he wasn't able to practice with a couple of his key weapons on Wednesday. Dez Bryant sat out practice, still nursing the foot and knee injuries that have dogged him this year. Also missing was Cole Beasley, but he was only ill, so his absence will likely be short-lived.
The Cowboys were also without Morris Claiborne who still has hamstring issues. Byron Jones will likely have to fill in at corner against Buffalo. Returning to practice this week was Rolando McClain who missed the last game because of a concussion. With Gavin Esobar done for the year with a torn Achilles, reserve Geoff Swaim should be active this week.
The question for Dallas is will they start giving some other guys a look in the final two weeks. Players like Robert Turbin, Chaz Green, Damien Wilson, Mark Nzeocha and a few others are guys the Cowboys may want to get some tape on before the offseason begins.
If you were Dallas, would you start looking at the backups?
