All the highlights from the Cowboys’ sixth practice of training camp
Sunday’s practice had a lot of the same things as Saturday’s but the most important part was Jaylon Smith passing another test. Today, he practiced, in pads, for the second consecutive day!

And, of course, it was jam-packed with Cowboys’ fans once again, America’s Team travels pretty damn well.

Just a quick update from yesterday, Jourdan Lewis joins Ryan Switzer in the Department of Hamstrung. That forced a wily veteran to take reps returning kicks:

Over the past several practices, the defense has probably been winning a lot more than folks thought they would. Today, the offense caught them:

Here is an action shot of Ezekiel Elliott going through some running back drills, he scared folks pulling up for a second (looking like another hamstring) but he’s good:
The cornerbacks have been causing quite the difficulty but Dak and Dez is a hard connection to break:
Too late for a pic, but Dak and Dez just nailed the back-shoulder end zone fade against Anthony Brown.

Machota bails us out with the coverage of the play, that’s Dez Bryant, ya’ll!

Anybody order a fresh case of sauce? Watch out, this one’s a bit spicy:
The receivers were hot today and they made sure they got some back on these defensive backs:

Chidobe Awuzie, by far the best rookie so far, don’t feel bad about getting bodied by 88, that’s a bad man, rookie!

We can’t bust on the defense too bad, Kyle Wilber showing out for the defense:
Once again, Rico Gathers wasn’t happy about it but there are better ways to behave. Coach Garrett got hot!

I swear to you that Nolan Carroll has made some good plays but this was just nasty by Terrance Williams:

There are only two gears to Sean Lee...Seek and Destroy!
However, when that happens, Zeke just goes the other way...smart Zeke!
We got an update for Justin Durant, he’s taking some reps with the twos:
Kyle Wilber and Noah Brown also got into it and both guys were thrown out of practice:
Jason Garrett has laid down an edict apparently. Linebacker Kyle Wilber and wide receiver Noah Brown have been... https://t.co/Mn3ylxjCpd
— Todd Archer (@toddarcher) July 30, 2017
Add Rico Gathers to the kicked out list apparently. He and Wilber got into in 1-on-1 drills with Gathers throwing helmet.

Rod Smith has quietly had a very good camp thus far, he knows how to get to the edge with ease:

Ezekiel Elliott taking his time and finding the crease then boom!
They look the same but these are two different times that Zeke busts through the hole and gone.
Dez may not be fast but he’s agile and quick, you also better bring three guys to get him down.
Draft gurus said he wasn’t a consistent tackler...Brown says who said that?
Jaylon just gets better and better every practice rep he takes:

After getting sent to the principal’s office, they were welcomed back to practice:

Not to toot our own horns but uh...toot...toot! Our very own McCool, got a shout out from Bryan Broaddus on the Mothership’s broadcast of practice! Great work, McCool!
Hey they mentioning @McCoolBTB on the broadcast

That *was* nice, thank you @BryanBroaddus https://t.co/0x8QY7PMZb

Hey, Cowboys’ fans, Orlando Scandrick is healthy...and he did what nobody has done to this point in practice, stop Cole Beasley!
