The Cowboys had one famous draft class, but could the 2016 one be even better?

The Dallas Cowboys draft class of 1975 is widely regarded as the best class of incoming talent that the team has ever selected. Randy White, Bob Bruenig and ‘Hollywood’ Henderson were members of that class as were offensive linemen Herb Scott and Pat Donovan. This group helped pave the way for Tom Landry to revamp his squad and secure the franchise’s second Super Bowl win.

Now a group of upstart young men entering their sophomore season in the National Football League are threatening to replace that outstanding class as the top one. Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott have the potential to each add multiple MVP honors to their list of accomplishments.

Defensive back Anthony Brown made an impact on the secondary in 2016 and stands to make another leap forward in the upcoming season. Fellow rookie Maliek Collins started most of the season and was second on the squad in sacks. That is a remarkable level of success for any quartet of rookies.

The dirty dozen were called that for a reason and this writer left the others out to further his point about 2016 being better.

The five mentioned I believe all either made or should have made the Pro Bowl. As regards HOF White did and Henderson would have had he stayed clean. So to be blunt after just one season it is totally HC to try and claim 2016 is better.
