It's time to turn our attention to the Eagles.
It's Wednesday, and that means the Dallas Cowboys returned to work in preparation for their big divisional matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. A lot of the heat around this game of course concerns DeMarco Murray, but of more immediate concern for Dallas is injuries. Who can practice and who can play this week?
Tony Romo is sitting out today, that appears to be the regularly scheduled program. The Cowboys did this last year with Romo and it so far they will do it again this year. Also, Dez Bryant will be out this week and many more to come with his broken foot. Randy Gregory is also out, the Cowboys are saying 2-4 weeks on his high ankle sprain.
Guard Ron Leary is missing practice with the groin injury that kept him out of the end of the Giants game, the Cowboys are calling him day-to-day. Mackenzy Bernadeau subbed in for him in the Giants game, if Leary can't go the Cowboys will need to make La'el Collins active for this week's game. Brice Butler, just in from Oakland, is practicing at receiver and will wear number 19. The Cowboys also are practicing with a new reserve tackle, Charles Brown, who was brought on board yesterday. The Cowboys released Darrion Weems to make room.
