Yesterday it was Anthony Spencer who practiced in a limited capacity while Dez Bryant was basically rehabbing. Today, the situation is reversed; Bryant is suited up and running through some drills in the early part of practice while Anthony Spencer is working with the trainers.
Bryant is said to be moving better today and is participating in drills so that's a step up from yesterday. I don't think anyone doubts he'll play on Sunday. Spencer was in the Cowboys weight room during practice getting some cardio work in. That's two practices he's missed this week with a more limited one mixed in on Thursday. It's hard to tell if the Cowboys are just being very cautious with Spencer and nursing him along, or maybe his sore knee hasn't responded as well after playing last week.
Ernie Sims continues his efforts to get back on the field but is still just working out on the sidelines with trainers instead of participating in practice.
In a couple of other notes, Jerry Jones proclaims Brian Waters ready to start. But Waters is still splitting time in practice with Mackenzy Bernadeau. J.J. Wilcox continued to run with the starters in Friday's practice perhaps signalling his ascendancy to the starting spot, or at least a rotation with Will Allen.
