The Cowboys star defensive end, DeMarcus Ware, missed another practice on Thursday making it less likely he will play on Sunday. Ware could be seen working on the sidelines with the trainers and by most accounts is making progress, but unless he practices tomorrow he will likely miss another week. That may be for the best in the long run, Dallas should be taking no chances with Ware at this point in the season.
By contrast, DeMarco Murray enjoyed a second straight day of practice likely meaning that he will play against the Lions unless he suffers a setback. The Cowboys should have a full arsenal at running back as Lance Dunbar is also scheduled to return this week.
Morris Claiborne missed practice on Thursday but that was because of an illness as opposed to an injury. Get well quickly, Mo. Tackle Nick Hayden has a back injury and missed the past couple of days although the Cowboys expect him to play. Wide receiver Miles Austin was doing little but resting his hamstring. DeVonte Holloman is still unavailable for practice and likely out for the next game.
