Tony Romo isn't the only Cowboy dealing with a troublesome back at Valley Ranch.
Dez Bryant tweaked his back in practice on Wednesday and was limited in today's practice. Bryant did some individual drill work early in practice but then move over to work on rehab instead of participating in the full practice. Bryant's back has been an issue on numerous occasions though he always seems to play through it. I would expect this time to be no different.
Tony Romo was nowhere to be found at practice, but the Cowboys continue to keep up the fiction that Romo might play after the full effects of an epidural he took earlier in the week take hold. Back in reality, Kyle Orton took the first-team reps for the Cowboys in practice and Jon Kitna was on hand to be the backup.
Sources have basically ruled out Sean Lee from this week's game and he hasn't participated in any practices, so that seems likely. In fact, there is concern that the neck injury is more serious than we've been led to believe. Ernie Sims was also absent from practice.
On the positive side, the Cowboys should be getting Morris Claiborne and Dwayne Harris back this week.
