Still no Miles Austin. Thursday's practice was unattended by the badly-needed wide receiver. The Cowboys will want as much firepower as possible on Sunday and so far it doesn't look good on the Austin front. That's not to say he won't play, he could practice tomorrow and show up for the game on Sunday, heck, they might not even practice him all week and still run him out there if he's ready. But it sure would have been reassuring to see him out there today.
There were some encouraging signs from defensive end George Selvie who did come out to practice dressed in his jersey but no helmet. He did work on conditioning drills along the sideline and coach Jason Garrett relayed that Selvie is making good progress and has felt fine since the last game. It's looking more encouraging that he could suit up. That would also be a good thing since his back up, Edgar Jones, missed practice again with a groin injury. They Cowboys could slide Kyle Wilber over there if Selvie doesn't play.
Linebacker Justin Durant was also missing due to a groin injury.
