The Cowboys best defensive tackle is still not practicing.

Earlier today, we updated the Tyron Smith situation with the news that he has a sprained LCL in his knee and he won’t practice today. It’s possible he may not play this week, and depending on the severity of the injury, could miss additional time.

Also missing from the Wednesday practice will be defensive tackle David Irving. Irving ended up with a concussion in the Washington game, and hasn’t practiced or played since. That’s over two weeks now, which is actually a little bit concerning. The Cowboys could certainly use an agile and instinctive pass rusher like Irving this week, they will be facing Russell Wilson who is so hard to contain in the pocket. Irving would certainly upgrade the Cowboys ability to get a hold of Wilson, who is single-handedly keeping the Seahawks afloat.

Anthony Hitchens will also miss today’s practice, although both Stephen and Jerry Jones seem pretty optimistic that he’ll be ready to go come game time. La’el Collins is also sitting out today’s practice, a regular occurrence for him.

Orlando Scandrick and Brice Butler are expected to be limited. Scandrick could play after missing two games when he fractured two bones in his back.

And, by the way, the Cowboys expect Ezekiel Elliott to go through a normal practice today.

I can't just hear those excuses formulating already.

If we had we would have won that Seahawks game!
:banghead:

He posted pictures of him partying and skateboarding on Instagram last weekend. So it cant be that bad

lol, there's photos of him out with his friends (wearing a damn shark costume) and posing for a photo while holding a skateboard. Let's not get dramatic.

He doesn't need to sit in a dark room 24/7 to be still be having symptoms.

If he can watch practice today, he'll move to practicing tomorrow, and then getting cleared Friday or Saturday.

No he doesn't, but I don't think loud music and going out is good. Ive had several concussions and I didn't want to go anywhere let alone go out to a bar/club.

And he wasn't. Those were old pics from before the concussion.

The doctors control when a player can return to the field. Let's get off the player doesn't love the game because he takes too long to return from a concussion.

I never said he didn't love the game. That was another poster. I simply said he posted pictures of him out with friends on the weekend. That's all
