The news is good on the Cowboys injury situation.
ESPN Dallas let's us know that the Cowboys should be getting most of their injured players back this week for the game against the Giants. Morris Claiborne made his return to practice meaning that the Cowboys secondary should be back at full strength. J.J. Wilcox had already returned on Monday and was also present at today's practice, he should be good to go, too. Claiborne will return but he's lost his starting position to Orlando Scandrick. Still, his ability to come in as the third-corner means the Cowboys won't have to rely on rookie B.W. Webb.
Veteran defensive linemen DeMarcus Ware, Jason Hatcher and Nick Hayden all practiced meaning the starting front four (with George Selvie) will finally play together for the first time in a month. Having Ware back and healthy, and causing havoc, is the one thing that could instantly improve the defense.
At linebacker, DeVonte Holloman looks like he'll be the strong-side starter in the base defense and will come off the field in the nickel.
Miles Austin will also likely return this week, maybe his presence can spark a resurgence for the Cowboys offense.
Out for this game are Sean Lee and Justin Durant.
