La'el Collins is a confident player and that's why he really doesn't care who he's facing across the line of scrimmage, he'll be ready to make their acquaintance.
Why Sean Lee’s Enjoying His Best Offseason In The Last Five Years - Rob Phillips, Dallas Cowboys
Whether it’s the playoffs or pad-less June OTA practice, Sean Lee’s intensity level never, ever seems to drop.
"Listen, it gets competitive out there," he said afterward. "Coach (Jason) Garrett preaches we’ve got to attack every single day with a sense of urgency. That’s something that’s been ingrained in this team and I think that’s what’s going to push us to get back and be the type of team we want to be."
Byron Bell makes weight, cashes in - Todd Archer, ESPN
New Cowboys offensive lineman Byron Bell met a weigh-in bonus and pocketed a tidy $150,000 for his efforts.
Bell pocketed $150,000 for weighing in at 320 pounds. Bell has similar weigh-ins for the first day of training camp and the first week of the regular season in which he can earn $300,000. Lacy has seven different weigh-ins that can earn him up to $385,000 in bonuses.

La'el Collins explains transition to tackle, says he's not studying opposing pass rushers - Jon Machota, SportsDay
Collins is making the move to right tackle but he's not worried about any pass rushers.
"Honestly, I don't really feel like ... It's weird because you feel like changing positions you're doing everything in the opposite stance that it would take time, but it just feels damn near natural. It just feels natural. It feels good. It all comes with focus and being locked in and staying locked in throughout everything, understanding my footwork, understanding where I need to be, understanding football. You study film, you prepare yourself the right way and you go out there and play free."
Why you should root for the Dallas Cowboys - Adam Rank, NFL.com
Second-year sensations Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott promise excitement for years to come, but Adam Rank says the dynamic duo's certainly not the only reason to root for the Dallas Cowboys.
Why does everybody hate the Cowboys?
The easy answer is jealousy. The Cowboys had 20 consecutive winning seasons from 1966 through 1985, so that is bound to leave a bunch of hurt feelings around the league. I mean, you hate the good teams; nobody hates the bad teams. Like, everybody hates the Lakers; everybody is indifferent about the Clippers.
A Nolan Carroll Suspension Could Actually Be A Blessing In Disguise For Dallas - RJ Ochoa, Blogging The Boys
Could there be a silver (and blue?) lining to a suspension potentially hitting Nolan Carroll? The answer is definitely not no.
Get hypothetical with me and pretend that Dallas Cowboys CB Nolan Carroll is suspended for his recent arrest. What would that cause? Panic? Uproar? How about a calm mind that processes the ripple effect it has on the team and how that might be a potentially beneficial thing?
The Cowboys would benefit in having an extra month of time to figure out exactly how they want to construct the rest of the roster, and Carroll would be a guaranteed healthy player come Week 5. I like those odds.
Cowboys' Jason Witten, Mavs' Dirk Nowitzki share secrets of success - Todd Archer, ESPN
A recent party for Tony Romo brought together two of Dallas' longest-tenured athletes, and Jason Witten and Dirk Nowitzki clearly have much in common.
"You think about how he hones in on his shot what goes into it, I mean, I think we all know that he’s got a great shot, but he doesn’t just walk out there and shoot like that," Witten said. "The details that he goes into to performing at that level and the gym rat that he is, and just the repetitions, I’m similar. I gain a lot of confidence in the individual part of practice and the footwork and the steps and the stems of the route tree. Those are things I hang my hat on."
Cowboys back Ezekiel Elliott sees more yards ahead - Drew Davison, Fort Worth Star-Telegram
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott had 322 carries in 15 games last season. He didn’t play in the final regular-season game.
"When you get those one-on-ones, making that guy miss, taking it to the house and just tripping up because you’re trying to do too much," Elliott said. "Missing holes. Missing reads.
"That’s what’s going to propel you from 1,600 yards to 1,800 yards to 1,900 yards — making sure I make all those plays and continue to not leave any yards on the field."
Damontre Moore quotes Thomas Edison, Drake while explaining decision to join Cowboys -Jon Machota, SportsDay
Damontre Moore was on the practice fields in Oxnard, Calif. during last year's training camp, working out for Cowboys coaches. Dallas chose not to sign him but things have changed since then.
"Like [Thomas Edison] said, 'There are 300 ways to not make a light bulb. Once I got that one way, then I can make it,'" Moore said. "Now, this is my one way to make that light bulb."
