Information on the Dallas Cowboys 2016 Week 4 preseason game against the Houston Texans, including the game time, TV channel, how to stream the Cowboys-Texans game online, radio, odds, announcers, predictions, and more!

We've almost reached the Cowboys fourth preseason game, which is simultaneously the best and the worst preseason game. It's the worst preseason game because generally no starters play so the quality of football is decidedly substandard. By the end of the game you have guys who are desperately trying to hang on to a roster spot, although very few will. For a deep look into the depth of a roster, it can be educational, but for quality, entertaining football it is decidedly lacking.

But it is also the best preseason game for one simple reason, it's the last preseason game. After this, it's time for the real deal and football will officially be back.

The Cowboys have already announced that Dak Prescott will not play in this game. As such, Jameill Showers will have to go the distance since the Cowboys don't have another quarterback on the roster. As was discussed yesterday, it appears the emergency quarterback would be wide receiver Cole Beasley. Though it should be noted that the Cowboys will work out former Browns and Rams quarterback Austin Davis on Wednesday, he could be signed to be an emergency quarterback for Thursday's game. He was recently released by the Browns.

Dallas will get one final look at the glut of young and inexperienced guys along their defensive front seven and the hope is that a couple will finally distinguish themselves. Running back Darius Jackson is sure to get a heavy load of carries as he tries to nail down a spot on the 53-man roster.
