The rookie QB continues to impress.
Dak Prescott actually committed a turnover in the Cowboys 28-14 demolition of the Cincinnati Bengals. That’s headline news and just proves how flawless his play has been so far in the 2016 season. In the fourth quarter, the Bengals pass rush finally got home and stripped the ball from Prescott, a fumble that Cincinnati eventually recovered. After almost five complete games, Prescott finally turned the ball over.
As for interceptions? Nope, not a one. The rookie has started his career with 156 pass attempts without an interception, a rookie record. Pass attempt number 135 actually set the record because Carson Wentz threw his first interception of the year on attempt number 134, an interception that cost the Eagles a chance to win their game.
Prescott finished the Bengals game with 18 completions on 24 attempts, for 227 yards and two touchdowns (one through the air and one on the ground). His QB rating was a very efficient 117.9 and he looked thoroughly in control of his team throughout the game.
