As I’ve been saying for years, Dak is a one read QB that stares down his WRs and now even Blogging the Boys is starting to notice it, even though it really doesn’t take a genius to see it. I keep telling Dak-stans to watch how he never moves his eyes, which also explains incidents like the strip sack on the one traditional drop back he ran two weeks ago, in which his homers tried to argue he has no time, when he double clutched it.

While tape showed a lot of nice things in the Cowboys passing game, one thing that didn’t look so great was how predictable Prescott became throwing over the middle of the field. He looked as if he was telegraphing some throws as his eyes locked onto his targets and the Browns defense saw it coming as they just sat down and waited. It was great when Dak threaded the needle to Amari Cooper for the touchdown.

But then the Browns gradually started picking up on it, and several times they jumped it and almost came away with a pick.

And eventually, his time luck ran out.

The site in the last sentence was referring to the INT on the Cooper route, where all the Dak-stans were talking about how it was Cooper’s fault, when all you have to do is look at Dak staring down Cooper the whole way, which explains why TWO DBs were easily in play for the ball.

Im tired of listening to excuses for his scrub.

Even the game announcers mentioned it.

Hey, learn some football before you post. Amari half-assed running his route once again...2 games in a row. He didn't even make an effort to fight for the ball in air. He simply didn't run at all or make any attempt to want the ball thrown at him. He is totally the opposite Michael Irvin! For this type of "effort", he is getting paid $21 million/year?

My recollection is that the route just wasn't there. The defense got there before Cooper, and that's why he pulled up.

" Smith’s movement is clumsy as if his ability to change direction is being hampered. He just looks like a player who doesn’t trust his knees. "

Starting from last year, his gait has been noticeably uneven, and the weird gimpiness has only grown. Can't anchor and drive. Has trouble cutting.

Jaylon ain't right.

I see Dak going through his progressions and looking off the safety all the time.

That's one of the few plays I actually got to see. It looked to me like Cooper just wasn't expecting someone to come in from behind him, so he waited for the ball to get there. Of course, I only saw it once, so I could be wrong.

Ive noticed Dak double clutching the ball and all that does is give the defense time to react! I like the other article you posted about how Dak on the surface looks good but in reality his numbers are below avg in crunchtime. Ive always felt when Dallas runs the ball twice in a row and has a 3rd and 5 its a real crapshoot if Dak can pick it up. Where I was so much more confident in Romo to get it.

True it was meat and drink for Tony.

The video angle given during the game sucks for seeing what Cooper did.

The ball was intercepted. It didn't *go* to Cooper, so he wasn't waiting for it. I thought they got there first. Two of them. Right on top of it.
