Update your calendars so you’ll know when the Cowboys are going to be at camp.

There are many Cowboys fans that make their way out west to see the great splendor of training camp in Oxnard, California.

Oxnard is a welcome change for the Dallas-based Cowboys as, well, Texas is stupid hot in the summer. California is cool, man. If you haven’t ever been out to Oxnard, you should highly consider going if you’re able to.

We now officially know when the Cowboys will be arriving on the west coast. All 32 NFL teams had their reporting dates made public on Thursday. Some teams have rookies arrive earlier, but the Cowboys aren’t rolling that way. Everyone will report on July 25th, 32 days from today.

July 25: Opening press conference and official reporting date for training camp.

July 26: First practice (no pads).

August 5: Likely date of the annual Blue/White scrimmage.

August 9, 10:00 pm ET: Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers.

August 17: The Cowboys return home and have open practices at The Star in Frisco for the rest of camp.

August 18, 7:00 pm ET: Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys.

August 30, 8:00 pm ET: Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans.

September 1: Clubs must reduce rosters to a maximum of 53 players by 4:00 p.m., New York time.

Previous seasons have given us quite interesting things to discuss this time of year ranging all the way from Damien Wilson being shot in the eye by a paintball to Lucky Whitehead’s infamous release last season.

Who all is going to be out in Oxnard? Let’s work on BTB getting together to slap hands and the like.
