On Monday, Pat Yasinskas of ESPN reported that the Buccaneers are the leading candidate to feature on this year's season of the HBO reality show "Hard Knocks." Apparently, while the Bucs have been involved in talks, no deal has been finalized.

Yesterday, a report suggested that HBO may also be considering the Dallas Cowboys, the Seattle Seahawks, the Miami Dolphins, the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos in addition to the Bucs. Of course, that is all assuming that there will be a CBA in place in time for a training camp to take place in July or August.

The Cowboys were featured on the show twice before, in 2002 and 2008. Jerry Jones would love the opportunity to get onto the national spotlight again and HBO might get a kick out of focusing on 'the other Ryan' after the Jets declined to pursue a second season, but would the notoriously tight-lipped Jason Garrett play along?...

I LOVE Hard Knocks. Even love it more when the Cowboys are on it. I'm not sure how good or bad it is for the Cowboys but i'm for it. If not, that's fine. But my favorite seasons have been the Cowboys seasons. I'm biased of course.

Normally i would agree but this team has proven to be full of mental midgets and does not need that distraction again. One day jerry might understand that.

Who's to say Jason wouldn't want to be on Hard Knocks? You guys paint him out be this hard A sort of like a miniature Bill Billicheat and i'm not sure where this perception comes from.

I'm pretty sure he wants to win. Which means get his team focused on practicing and playing not acting out for cameras.
