After going through waivers and the rest of the weekend without a team, Michael Sam has found his landing spot.
According to multiple tweets Tuesday afternoon, Michael Sam is on his way to Dallas today. He'll take a physical on Wednesday with the intention of signing him to the 10-man practice squad.
Cowboys plan to bring Michael Sam to Dallas for a physical Wednesday, per team source. If all goes well, Sam will be a Cowboy.

#Cowboys spent today calling players, gauging reaction to signing Michael Sam. They’ll have him in with the plan to sign him to P-squad

Going back a few weeks, I mentioned the idea of signing Sam if he didn't make the Rams squad. While the national media will suggest this is a Jerry Jones media and merchandise-centric move, I think this traces directly back to the complete lack of pass rush exhibited by the Cowboys in the preseason. We'll see how he fits on the practice squad, and see if he can earn a spot on the 53.
Michael Sam played 133 snaps this preseason, recording two sacks, two QB hits and three QB hurries in the process.
