T-Will came to play on Sunday.

Your Dallas Cowboys have now been victorious in three consecutive games after a shaky start to the season. The offense was clicking throughout the afternoon, and the defense played lights out — for the most part — against one of the most dangerous offenses that the NFL has to offer.

Dak Prescott played another outstanding game, leading the offense through the air and by using his legs on multiple occasions. He accounted for three of the Cowboy’s four touchdowns, and he played with composure in yet another nationally televised game against a quarterback having an MVP-caliber season. Ezekiel Elliott was workhorse, he did have some impressive runs throughout the day, including a hurdle, and he reached the end zone.

Cole Beasley and Dez Bryant both had outstanding days against the Chiefs, as the two wideouts combined to total 97 yards and two touchdowns (both to Bease) on ten receptions. The offense was rolling and there just wasn’t anything that the Chiefs could do to stop it.

But, the game ball has to go the man that many people, including yours truly, often criticize: Terrance Williams.

T-Will has certainly had some questionable plays — perhaps most notably not getting out of bounds against the Giants last season and dropping a completion that resulted in a pick-six against the Packers — but 83 came to play on Sunday.

Williams was a huge bright spot in a game that many felt that the Cowboys had to get if they wanted any realistic chance of making the postseason for the third time in four seasons. Dak found T-Will early and often as the pair connected nine times for an average of nearly 16 yards per reception.

While 83 didn’t reach the end zone, he did come down with a huge 56-yard catch-and-run that ultimately led to a Dak rushing touchdown right before the first half ended. It was a big play in a big game, something that we love to see from Williams.

BTB’s Tom Ryle had this to say about T-Will:

Terrance Williams. Huge day with crucial receptions, and an important bit of awareness to go down inbounds and force KC to use their last timeout near the end of the game. Just hope his injury is not as bad as it looked.

@TerranceWill2 No Swag Walk today, but Terrance Williams had 9 catches for 141 yards. Who's the player of the game? pic.twitter.com/ySUAcwgvx3

Honorable Mention: The front-seven

The Dallas Cowboys’ front-seven continues to improve as each week progresses. Demarcus Lawrence has had a NFL Defensive Player of the Year kind of season so far, and David Irving has been a man possessed since returning from his four-game suspension.

Tyrone Crawford has played very well, and Taco Charlton recorded his first career sack on the Chiefs’ last chance to make it a game in the fourth quarter. The General, Sean Lee, makes this defense go, and Jaylon Smith has played well in recent weeks.

This front-seven has been a huge bright spot for the Cowboys; the pass rush has been the best that it has been in years, and the defense just limited one of the league’s best offenses to 17-points (and only one legit touchdown drive).

Our own Michael Sisemore said that Tank deserves the game ball:

Demarcus Lawrence - I don't care that he didn't have a sack but look what he did to Kansas City's offensive line. He forced multiple false starts because nobody wants any part of him. He also was a consistent presence along the edge and Alex Smith was never able to find comfort in the pocket. That was the best zero sack performance I've ever seen, he was constantly winning his one-on-ones.

Here’s hoping this play continues as the Cowboys make a push for the playoffs.

Who do you think deserves the gall ball, BTB?
