BTB: Elo ratings predict yet another 8-8 season for Dallas Cowboys

This team has lost it's identity with the running game due mostly to the suspension drama and has gotten significantly worse on defense. If we find a way to get into the playoffs it will be because of Dak elevating his play and dragging a poor team to daylight.
This team this year is like those teams Romo had around him for about five years that were terrible on defense and lacked an identity on offense. At least this squad has young talent on defense in spots to build around for the future and the OL isn't nearly as bad as those slop units lol.

It's not the record, bro. If we're going with the current trend, our offense is going to need to score 35 points a game just a shot to win. This is looking like 2013 all over again. I mean, maybe you see this defense turning it completely around after the bye? Minus the Niners, the remaining schedule is chock full of Offensively heavy-hitting teams. I actually think we have a better shot at beating a defensive juggernaut like Seattle than say, Washington or Philly. The defense is sucking.

I just hope that this doesn't give the team another excuse for a lazy off-season. Don't know if I can take a bunch of "these guys all have a year under their belt" posts as justification of sitting on our hands.

Just prepare yourself for it and it will make it less disappointing.

As blind homers as they are, its hard to miss a high school defense when you see one. Also hard to win games when said defense gives up 27 points on avg.

I’m not even saying we’re not going to be 8-8 or worse but how you all can tell after all the crazy stuff I know all of you have seen go down in an NFL season baffles me.But hey.
