The saga is all over, except for the actual sitting out of games.
Ezekiel Elliott and the NFLPA will no longer fight the NFL in court over his six-game suspension. Today they announced that they will drop the appeal and Zeke will serve all six-games of his suspension this season.

Originally there was an appeal hearing scheduled for December 1st, which would have occurred after he had already served four games of the six-game suspension. It would have been conceivable that he could win an injunction at that time, and resume playing after the Cowboys play Washington in a couple of weeks. But the courts haven’t been favorable recently, and many experts doubted he would win.
Now he will be out through the game against the Raiders, returning for a Christmas Eve battle with the Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully that game will be meaningful with the Cowboys battling for a playoff spot.
