The Cowboys rookies are on their way to a Pro Bowl appearance, unless they are busy that week!

It’s getting to be that time of the year. No, not Christmas, but Pro Bowl selections. This year, with the Dallas Cowboys sitting at 11-1 and more popular than ever, its two breakout stars are reaping the benefits. In the voting by the fans for the Pro Bowl, rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott is the top vote-getter, and right behind him is Dak Prescott. Incredible.

Elliott leads all players with 681,361 votes. Prescott is second with 607,621. Two rookies leading the Pro Bowl vote is pretty crazy, especially since one of them plays quarterback. They are followed in the voting by Tom Brady, Antonio Brown and Derek Carr. Fans can continue to vote until December 13th. Head on over and make sure Zeke and Dak stay on top. The selections will be announced on December 20th and the game will be played on January 29th, 2017. Of course we’re all hoping no Dallas Cowboys players play in the Pro Bowl, we’d rather they be prepping for the Super Bowl!

Several other Cowboys are leading the vote at their position. Tyron Smith is leading offensive tackles, ditto Travis Frederick at center and Dan Bailey leads at kicker. Sean Lee is in the lead in the NFC for outside linebacker, behind Von Miller in the AFC. And Chris Jones leads for punters.
