Looking for the next big waiver wire move in your fantasy league? We got some advice.

The Cowboys have a bye week this week after cruising to 5-1. Still, fantasy football goes on no matter if the Cowboys are off or not. We have your week 7 fantasy advice right now...

Quarterback

Case Keenum, LA, owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues

Keenum hasn't been great but he just dropped 40 fantasy points on the Detroit Lions. He's been getting better each week and has over 260 passing yards in three consecutive games. He's also thrown five touchdowns in that time. If you're hurting for a bye week arm, Keenum should be a fitting replacement.

Alex Smith, KC, owned in 28% of Yahoo Leagues

Smith didn't live up to our expectations against the Raiders but that was because Dontari Poe's touchdown catch was ruled a lateral rushing touchdown instead. Still, now he gets to face the New Orleans Saints and their soft pass defense. They just gave up 38 points to the Panthers and should give up even more to a competent offense. Smith now has Jamaal Charles back and that's half the offense. Jeremy Maclin is also been positively improving.

Running Back

Jay Ajayi, MIA, owned in 31% of Yahoo Leagues

We had Ajayi in there last week and if you listened to us, you walked away with 200 rushing yards. Ajayi is great play again this week as well in a divisional dogfight against the Buffalo Bills. Ajayi had almost 40 fantasy points and deserves a spot in your lineup for week 7. Ajayi is on a two-week streak of outperforming his projections, can he make it three?

Jacquizz Rodgers, TB, owned in 22% of Yahoo Leagues

Tampa Bay found themselves a tough and hard-nosed runner when they beat the Panthers on Monday night football last week. Now, they have a week of rest as they get ready to take on the San Francisco 49ers, who are giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs. Rodgers had 16 fantasy points the last time he was on the field, expect Tampa to bust up that weak run defense in the bay area.

Wide Receiver

Michael Thomas, NO, owned in 67% of Yahoo Leagues

Thomas is on a tear for the New Orleans Saints as he's shown to be open when favorites like Willie Snead and others are covered. Thomas has outperformed his projections for three straight weeks and it's looking like the Saints are going to find themselves in a lot of shootouts. Brees has made a target out of Thomas and he's got the Chiefs, who are giving up the 8th most points to wide receivers.

Kenny Britt, LA, owned in 11% of Yahoo Leagues

Britt just went off for over 30 points this week and he continues to outperform his projections. Now, it looks as though Keenum is playing better, it's going to mean more targets for Britt. He's got the New York Giants up next who have given up the 12th-most points to opposing receivers. Britt could have a big day when these two NFC squads meet.

Tight End

Jack Doyle, IND, owned in 11% of Yahoo Leagues

Doyle is getting more playing time as Dwayne Allen has been abysmal. This week Doyle emerged as one of Andrew Luck's best targets. Doyle dropped double digits this week for the first time since week one. Doyle has a matchup with the Titans coming up who haven't been that great at stopping tight ends.

Hunter Henry, SD, owned in 35% of Yahoo Leagues

We put out the alert on Henry last week and he's a smart add this week as well. He's only owned in 35% of the leagues and he's about to go up against the Falcons. Atlanta is giving up the 3rd most points to tight ends and Henry is as consistent a target for Philip Rivers as there is. Henry has been improving each week since week 3.

Defense

New York Giants owned in 15% of Yahoo Leagues

New York is a great play with their front seven and their feisty defensive backs. The LA Rams are giving up the most points to opposing defenses and though Keenum is getting better too, he'll still throw a few to you. The Giants are a lock for a double-digit defensive performance this week.

Kicker

Dustin Hopkins, WAS, owned in 29% of Yahoo Leagues

Hopkins has 57 fantasy points thus far and he's been a great play all except one week this season. Hopkins is a sure-fire double-digit kicker because Washington kicks about three field goals per game. The Commanders have the Lions on the menu and Detroit is giving up the 6th-most points to kickers.
