BTB Final Mock

I wouldn't go as far as "great", but I would be happy with this. I would definitely take another LB in the 3rd instead of an extra SS.

I have little problem with the first three rounds, but I tell you this. If I net an additional third round pick, it's going to Seattle for Earl Thomas, not pacakged together with other picks for Terrell Edmunds.

I love the deal for Tim Settle afterwards too, but that deal for Edmunds wrecks it for me.

I'd take it. But I think we can do better if we acquire another 3rd.

I see Vander Esch and Vea gone so think the pick will end up being G or a WR in the 1st.

WR can be found in the 2nd/3rd Round. So Daniels could very well be the pick. Seems like they like him better than Hernandez or Wynn.

I’m not even the biggest fan of Daniels and this would be a great draft. Trade down is definitely the dream scenario unless someone unexpected falls.

I would neither hate it or love it.

The Patriots seem like an unlikely trade up partner.

It seems they drafted a Guard based on need. The odd thing about that is that Daniels probably needs more time to develop than a guy like Hernandez; although, I think Daniels has a higher upside. He needs a year in an NFL weight room. I do love getting players that played Center in college because that gives the team a high end backup option at Center from their starting LG.

Miller at 50 is OK value. He is not my favorite 2nd round type WR but probably a safe pick.

Darius Leonard checks all the boxes physically. He appears faster than his 4.7 forty. He strained is quad in the first forty which likely means it was not really his best time. He has freakish 34-3/8" arms and bigger than average 10-1/4" hands. He does use his arm length to shed blocks although not always consistently. His 38" vert indicates some explosiveness. He show sideline-sideline range an decent coverage ability both of which are mandatory in my criteria for modern era LBs. My biggest question is his moderate intensity level. That a sounds odd for a player that has the record for tackles at his school but he just doesn't show a lot of high intensity on most snaps

Terrell Edmunds at 86 is a steal. He can cover and tackle. I have not looked up his INT stats bu he seems to get his hands on the ball often even when he doesn't end up with the INT. He plays with visible intensity. Hus measurables are very good:
6-1, 217, 4.47, 41-1/2 vert, decent arm length, large 10-1/2" hands.

Like XWalker said, not sure Daniels can anchor down against strength at this point in his career. Would have preferred Wynn if available. If Daniels surprises, first 5 picks are dynOmite.

I differ from X on Miller. I think he is absolutely fantastic.

Fine with the next three picks .... even though it did seem like we were giving up more than I had envisioned to get them. But hey, i repeatedly preach about quality over quantity so I can't complain. You picked your targets & went & got them.

I haven't been that impressed by Wadley. Would have preferred a player like Phillip Lindsay perhaps.

No clue about Lawler.

Is it wrong that I fear the actual results will be so much worse??? :(

Cowboys have 27 roster spots to fill

Does this draft produce 2 starters? 3? Lots of snaps? It definately seems to address keeping Dak protected & another possible target.

If that's what we get, that's what we're rolling with..... I'm fine with it
