Miles Austin finally finds a home.
The Cowboys released Miles Austin earlier this offseason in a cost-cutting move. Austin had a brief period where he was a #1 receiver and reached the Pro Bowl with the Cowboys, but lately hamstring issues kept the talented wide receiver limited during the season, spending plenty of time in the trainer's room. Because of that and the emergence of Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams, Austin was expendable. He was designated a June 1st cut that will save the Cowboys $5.5 million.

The two-time Pro Bowl wideout adds size, a sure pair of hands and dynamic route-running to the corps. Manziel and Co. will have to hope Austin can stay out of the trainer's room.
Just recently Cowboys head coach Jason Garret said he would not rule out a return to the team by Austin, but he might have been just keeping the option open without any real interest. With Bryant and Williams in the fold, and the hoped-for play of new draft pick Devin Street, the Cowboys are going younger at the position and building for the future.
