I have been very critical on both CB's throughout and have no reason to suggest otherwise. If (big "if") they both do a 180 from previous seasons production, I feel the impact would be significant enough for a deep playoff run (if TR and offense remains healthy). Confidence and production at both CB positions could create (or open up) a lot more opportunities for the rest of the defensive positions to make plays. I'll believe it when I see it on the field however.

Only bc Scandrick moves to the slot in nickel. Still sad that we are happy about a starter w/zero INTS in 2 seasons who "luckily?" took a pay cut. I'm still having a hard time with that one:huh:

I never said you should be happy about it but it is true.

I liked hearing about Butler and Romo but 10 INTs for Carr and Mo is a joke

So Carr and Claiborne are going to combine for 10 interceptions, eh?

I'll renounce my likes if that happens.

Oh not you specifically, just how the org let it get to that point was really the reason for the reply; we didn't restructure him last season in 15' purposefully so we could cut ties with little dead money this year. I was ready to move on (pay cut or not) via FA/draft and thought the team gave themselves the leeway to do just that but they didn't follow through with the plan I thought they had in place (was wrong obv). It felt like that unwarranted JJ love ($ under the bridge, likable/solid player) going his way and sometimes we know that can hurt us, etc.
