Did Hurns throw some shade?

The Dallas Cowboys made a huge move on Friday when they fired offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. This is a move that many fans have been clamoring for but it didn’t seem like it would be one that Dallas would ultimately make. Nevertheless, here we are.

Linehan’s offense was stagnant and at times trapping the Cowboys in a rut. While his firing is certainly unfortunate as we never wish ill will towards anyone, there are many that are excited to see the Cowboys offense led by someone else.

Is Cowboys receiver Allen Hurns among those that are excited? In the immediate aftermath of the news of Linehan’s firing, he took to social media and dropped what looks like his thoughts on the situation. At the very least, it is an interestingly-timed tweet.

Hurns is on the record for not loving Scott Linehan’s offense. After the Cowboys lost in Houston early in the season he publicly criticized the offense that was called. It actually makes sense that he would be happy to see Dallas go in a new direction.

It just got chilly in here, thanks to all that shade that Allen Hurns is throwing.
