More and more mocks seem to be going this way.
It sounds like a vintage country band, Joey Bosa & The Cowboys. But it's actually what you are hearing more and more when it comes to the Cowboys draft pick in mock drafts around the internet. Mel Kiper dropped his latest mock draft, and he has the Cowboys going with Bosa. In what is becoming a very familiar draft order, the Titans are taking Laremy Tunsil, the Browns pick Carson Wentz and the Chargers grab Jalen Ramsey. That leaves the Cowboys with this pick:
4. Dallas Cowboys
*Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
I don't think they should be out of the market for a quarterback this high, but it's hard to go wrong with the best pure pass-rusher in the draft. Bosa might not be the kind of freakish athlete you peg for a future 20-sack season, but he's a much better athlete than many give him credit for, and he'll be an early contributor who can stay on the field in any situation.
As we mentioned earlier this week, unless the Titans make a move out of pick number one and let a quarterback-hungry team in, Dallas may have no shot at Jalen Ramsey. But would they take Bosa?
There was a rumor floating around from Lance Zerlein last week that Dallas is not likely to take Bosa.
"I don't believe the Dallas Cowboys will draft Joey Bosa," Zierlein said on The Pick Is In podcast. "I've heard that they're not in love with Joey Bosa. I don't think Joey Bosa is going to be a Cowboy."
Zierlein said it's his understanding that some other top prospects appeal more to Dallas for the No. 4 pick, while opinions in the Cowboys' building are more split on Bosa.
If that's the case, I could see Ezekiel Elliott, Myles Jack or DeForest Buckner as possibilities. Or perhaps they do take Jared Goff (or Carson Wentz depending on who Cleveland takes).
But lately, more and more mocks have Dallas taking Joey Bosa.

So BTB, how happy or sad would you be with Joey Bosa as the Cowboys pick?
