Here are you starts and sits for week eight of fantasy football action.

It’s that time again. Here are your fantasy start and sits for Week 7.

NOTE: This is a list of players who are on the bubble when it comes to deserving a starting spot for the week. Obvious choices won’t be mentioned, and likewise - some under-the-radar guys, will. Advising you to start Tom Brady offers no value to you as a fantasy owner.

Must Starts

Quarterback

Carson Wentz vs. 49ers- Dak Prescott just lit this team up for almost 30 points, the 49ers are giving up the seventh-most points to quarterbacks. Over the past several weeks, they’ve been getting roasted.

Russell Wilson vs. Texans- He’s not had good protection this year but has still put up some good numbers. The Texans are giving up 22.3 points per game to quarterbacks over this season.

Running Back

Chris Thompson vs. Cowboys- He’s a must start as he’s probably one of the best waiver wire additions of this year. The Cowboys have given up at least 12+ points to one running back in each contest this season. They have also given 20+ points this season a few times.

Ameer Abdullah vs. Steelers- He’s been quite the disappointment this season but he’s got a favorable match this week. The Steelers have allowed backs to catch almost eight passes per game and give up almost 26 PPR points on the road to the position.

Wide Receiver

Chris Hogan vs. Chargers- The Chargers defense has improved but on the road, they are giving up the points to receivers. They’ve given up the sixth-most points to the position and Hogan is in for a rebound.

Adam Thielen vs. Browns- The Vikings should be in for a big day and that means a lot of throwing to Thielen. The Browns are a middling secondary and this is a matchup to exploit.

Tight End

Kyle Rudolph vs. Browns- Cleveland has allowed for four tight ends to have Top-10 finishes and have given up the most catches to the position.

Hunter Henry vs. Patriots- He’s bounced back in a pretty big way over the past few weeks. The Patriots have averaged giving up 12.8 PPR points per game to tight ends. It’s been a struggle for the Pats with tight ends.

Defense

Vikings vs. Browns- It’s a must every week as opponents are averaging 12.3 points per game on defense.

Eagles vs. 49ers- Their NFC East rival just had four sacks and three takeaways while allowing ten points. The Eagles could be serving up a blowout

Sit Them Down

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford vs. Steelers- Pittsburgh has been tough on quarterbacks allowing a paltry 9.96 points per game. Not a single quarterback has put up more than 16 or so points on them.

Ben Roethlisberger vs. Lions- Detroit is allowing just over 13 points per game to QB’s but Roethlisberger has really just failed to deliver. He’s on waivers in two of my leagues. He’s failed to get to 18 points in a game this season and that’s uncharacteristically bad.

Running Back

Lamar Miller vs. Seahawks- This is a bad matchup because Seattle has allowed the fourth-fewest points to backs this season. Only Carlos Hyde was able to reach 100 rushing yards.

Frank Gore vs. Bengals- He’s probably on the way down the depth chart with Marlon Mack getting some exposure. Also, the Bengals have allowed only two rushing touchdowns this season.

Wide Receiver

Marvin Jones vs. Steelers- Though he’s going to see a lot of action with the injury to Golden Tate, the Steelers are not the team he wants to see. Pittsburgh allows the fewest PPR points to receivers.

Will Fuller vs. Seahawks- He’s scored five touchdowns in three games but against the Seahawks, who have allowed the second-fewest points, time to look elsewhere.

Tight End

Jack Doyle vs. Bengals- He’s got double-digit performances in two straight weeks but it’s not going to be easy with the Bengals. They have only allowed one touchdown and the fourth-fewest points to the position.

Coby Fleener vs. Bears- He’s disappearing with each coming game having only 8 points in the last three games. The Bears have only allowed one touchdown since week one and less than six points per game.

Defense

Panthers vs. Bucanneers- Just one team has had more than seven points and three teams have had four or fewer points against them.

Commanders vs. Cowboys- Washington has been quite inconsistent at stopping opposing offenses and the Cowboys are a brutal matchup.

Must-Start Dallas Cowboy of the Week:

Dak Prescott- Keep rolling with Dak as he’s outperformed his projections in five straight games. He’s averaged about 27 points per game and has thrown nine touchdowns in the last three games.

Must-Sit Dallas Cowboy of the Week:

Cowboys Defense- The Commanders have been able to put up the points and this one has the making of a tough contest on the road for this defense. Expect Kirk Cousins to take advantage.

Fantasy Football Name Of The Week: San Francisco Fourth & Niners
