The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs is set.
The Dallas Cowboys know who their opponent will be in the Divisional Round of the 2017 NFL Playoffs, the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay pounded the New York Giants at Lambeau Field, 38-13, thus earning themselves a trip to AT&T Stadium to face the Cowboys. The Cowboys and Packers squared off earlier this season at Lambeau Field in Week 6, a game the Cowboys won 30-16. Dak Prescott has three touchdown passes in the game to offset a fumble and an interception, and that was really the game when people started to seriously consider Dak Prescott as a viable starter for the rest of the year.
The first line out has the Cowboys as 4-point favorites over the Packers. We’ll also have to see how bad the injury to Jordy Nelson is, which could have a huge impact on the game.
Earlier in the day the Pittsburgh Steelers overwhelmed the Miami Dolphins for an easy 30-12 win. The Steelers Antonio Brown had a big first quarter with two long touchdowns, then Le’Veon Bell took over, all the while the Steelers’ defense smothered Matt Moore and Jay Ajayi. The only downside for Pittsburgh is that Ben Roethlisberger hurt his ankle, but he says he should play next week.
Speaking of next week, the playoff schedule is set.
