359 readers participated in our Pick 256 Challenge for Week 2. Time to find out what they had to say.

Pick 256 is a season-long contest in which BTB members and readers get to pick the straight-up winners for all games each week. Last week, in the inaugural week of the contest, the consensus pick correctly predicted 10 out of sixteen games, which is not a bad result.

Can the consensus improve on that mark this week? Here are the favorites for Week 2 according to the Pick 256 participants:

It is worth pointing out that while the picks in the table above represent the consensus picks of the 359 participants, only five people actually picked those exact 16 teams to win. Which means that 354 participants disagree with at least one of the consensus picks.

Which pick do you most strongly disagree with?

Here's a link to the Excel file with all the picks for Week 2, for those who are interested in tracking the results themselves.

Pick 256 Tracker Week 2

Once you open the file, you'll see a blue title bar into which you can enter the winning teams to see where you end up among the 467 participants. The title bar is currently only populated with the result of the Steelers @ Ravens game, so you'll have to fill in the remaining winners yourself.

You can also input your own picks into the blue title bar and see how many other participants have the exact same picks as you do. And you can live update the spreadsheet on Sunday during the games to see how you're doing as the games are going on.

In any case, have fun with the file and good luck with your picks.
