Here are your starts and sits for Week 4 of your fantasy season.

It’s that time again. Here are your fantasy start and sits for Week 4.

Must Start Players

QUARTERBACK

Phantom: Kirk Cousins, WAS - The Commanders quarterback has had a up and down season so far. His completion percentage has dropped and he has just as many INTs as he does TDs. While his efficiency leaves something to be desired, his volume has been pretty good this year. He is second in the league in passing yards to only Drew Brees. Cousins is airing it out. This week he plays a soft Cleveland defense that gives up plenty of points to quarterbacks.

Sisemore: Joe Flacco, BAL- The Ravens return home for a matchup with the Raiders who’s secondary is atrocious at the moment. Flacco should have a huge day as this game has shootout written all over it. The Raiders have already been torched by Matt Ryan and Drew Brees and, if only, for one week, Flacco may prove to be exactly what T-Sizzle’s shirt says “elite”.

RUNNING BACK

Phantom: Charles Sims, TB - The Bucs third-year running back is one of those Danny Woodhead type players who has hidden fantasy value due to his hybrid rushing/receiving efficiency. Despite Doug Martin being healthy enough to get high volume carries in 2015, Sims still managed to finish 22nd overall in fantasy points for running backs. Currently, Martin is out with a hamstring injury which means a heavy dose of targets for Sims. He had 18.4 points last week in his first game starting for Martin and expect him to put up similar numbers this week.

Those who drafted the Muscle Hamster were wise to handcuff him with Sims.

Sisemore: Theo Riddick, DET- Hey remember when the Bears lost every starting run-stuffer on their roster? Remember when Ezekiel Elliott torched them for 140 rushing yards and the Cowboys had three rushing touchdowns? The Bears are giving up way too much ground and the Detroit Lions will exploit that in week 4, start Mr. Riddick and be happy. They use Riddick in the run game as well as the passing game and very efficiently.

WIDE RECEIVER

Phantom: Travis Benjamin, SD - The Saints give up a lot of fantasy points so most San Diego Chargers players are obvious starts. One guy who might not be so obvious is Travis Benjamin. With Keenan Allen lost for the year, the free agent receiver leads the Chargers in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns. But not only is he getting more looks, he’s getting them when they count. He’s tied with the fifth most red zone targets with six.

Sisemore: Will Fuller, HOU- He’s having a wonderful start to his rookie campaign and catches almost anything that’s thrown to him and is becoming Houston’s perfect complement target to De’Andre Hopkins. The Titans have given up 100 receiving yard games in each of their contests this season, you can bet that Fuller is going to have a nice day.

TIGHT END

Phantom: Zach Miller, CHI - While the veteran tight end had a two-touchdown game last week against the Cowboys, he was targeted nine times as new quarterback Brian Hoyer kept looking his way. This week he goes against the Detroit Lions, who have given up the most points to tight ends this season (16.7 per game). The Lions have allowed a touchdown to a tight end in all three games so far this season.

Sisemore: Kyle Rudolph, MIN - Since Bradford has been the quarterback, Rudolph’s numbers have gone way up. He’s been targeted 18 times and has hauled in 10 passes and two touchdowns. The Vikings running game has struggled to get off the ground and therefore they have used their tight ends in short passing formulas especially near the goal line. The Giants struggle with tight ends and that’s very good news for Rudolph this week.

DEFENSE

Phantom: New York Jets - While Seattle wins game with their defense, their offense came to life last year. But this year they’ve had a couple stinkers, scoring 12 points in the season opener against the Miami Dolphins and only three points in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams. With Russell Wilson ailing and going against a fierce front four of the Jets, the Seahawks could have their struggles. Points will be hard to come by in this game.

Sisemore: Washington Commanders - The Browns are in disarray, what’s new? The Commanders have some good pass rushers on their team and it could be a nice day for the Washington team. Cleveland has already turned the ball over four times in three weeks. Washington will exploit some matchups that favor their defense.

Take A Seat, Sucka

QUARTERBACK

Phantom: Eli Manning, NYG - If you were disappointed in your Carolina Panthers fantasy performers against Minnesota, then it’s easy to see how things could get ugly for Eli Manning and the New York Giants. The Vikings defense have more interceptions than touchdown passes allowed. And they can really get after the quarterback as Cam Newton was sacked eight times last week. Eli doesn’t do well under duress. He already has three picks on the season and expect that number to go after Sunday.

Sisemore: Russell Wilson, SEA - I never thought we’d sit Russell Wilson in back-to-back weeks but he’s just not himself right now. He’s got ankle and knee issues and hasn’t been nearly the fantasy king folks thought he would be in 2016. Now, he and the Seattle Seahawks flew cross-country for an early game against the Jets’ defense? I just don’t think this week is the week for Russell to get his groove back.

RUNNING BACK

Phantom: Tevin Coleman, ATL - If you played Coleman last week, you were a happy camper as everyone who participated in that Falcons/Saints shootout came away with some nice fantasy points. And Coleman has had three straight games with double-digit fantasy points. But let’s look past the results. He’s averaging 3.6 pts/gm based on his rushing yards. Each week, he either turns out a huge reception or scores a touchdown. These aren’t sustainable traits. The Panthers defense allowed 45 yards last week to Jerrick McKinnon and 34 yards to Carlos Hyde the week before that. Coleman could be very disappointing if he doesn’t find the end zone. Flex him at your own risk.

Sisemore: Orleans Darkwa - He’s been a sleeper in most leagues being picked up this week. Well, hate to break it to you, now is not the time to start him. Rashad Jennings may not go this week which would make Darkwa the guy but Minnesota has yet to give up one rushing touchdown. With the shaky offensive line in New York, don’t count on them being the one to finally punch one in on the Vikings.

WIDE RECEIVER

Phantom: Brandon Marshall, NYJ - It’s tough to sit such a target monster like Marshall, but this week’s match up is difficult. The Jets face a Seahawks defense that yields the fewest fantasy points to receivers. Seattle has yet to allow a receiving touchdown this season. Despite the targets, Marshall has already had two game this year with only three catches and they were both against good defenses. You should look for better options this week.

Sisemore: Sterling Shepard, NYG - Hear me out, I’m aware that all we’ve seen from him is good things as he’s scored two touchdowns and already has over 200 yards receiving. However, his job is mainly in the slot and the Vikings have Captain Munnerlyn, one of the best slot corners in the league. This is not a favorable matchup for Shepard as he becomes the third New York Giant to sit this week.

TIGHT END

Phantom: Delanie Walker, TEN - Let’s be honest, if you own Delanie Walker, you’re going to start him. His athleticism and involvement in the Titan’s offense are just too good to overlook. But if you happen to have a second good tight end on your roster or play in daily formats, this might be a time to look elsewhere. The Texans defense are very stingy when it comes to points to tight ends, allowing 1.7 points a game.

Sisemore: Dwayne Allen, IND - Allen has become a ghost in the Colts offensive plans and is being outproduced by their number two in Jack Doyle. Allen has got 35 yards and a dropped touchdown to his name right now and they set to take on the Jaguars in London. The Jags have shut down opposing tight ends in three straight weeks. Allen has been a fantasy bust.

DEFENSE

Phantom: New York Giants - The Giants make my “sit” list for the second straight week, but this time it’s for a different reason. Last week, the concern was with containing the desperate Washington Commanders. Kirk Cousins would move the ball and put some points on the board. This week, it has more to do with going against Minnesota’s defense. Between turnovers and sacks, the Giants offense could put their defense in precarious situations.

Sisemore: Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens have been a pretty solid defense scoring 21 points in two games but that comes to an end this week with the Raiders on the schedule. Oakland has allowed zero defensive points in the past three games. They can score offensively and that’s not going to be a good thing for the Ravens defense.

Cowboys Start Of The Week

Terrance Williams - While all the hype will go to Brice Butler if Dez Bryant isn’t able to play on Sunday, don’t kick TWilly to the curb. The Cowboys receiver is playing a lot better than his critics would suggest. He has many demons to exercise after some early season gaffes, so don’t be surprised if he has his breakout game of the year.

Cowboys Sit Of The Week

Dez Bryant - Some don’t expect him to play, but even if he suits up, the Cowboys won’t be leaning too heavily on him. And it wouldn’t be surprising if he had a short outing just to be cautious. Bryant is a big playmaker for this offense, and shelving him for a couple weeks is a good option to keep it that way.
